Abigail Ayizam, known professionally as Abbi Ima, is a dynamic Ghanaian singer and songwriter whose music bridges tradition and modernity. Hailing from Chana, a culturally rich village in the Kassena-Nankana West District of Ghana’s Upper East Region, Abbi Ima draws inspiration from a lineage of legendary northern musicians, including Michael Adamba (composer of the Ghana’s Most Beautiful theme song), Stevo Atambire, King Ayisoba, and Atimbila.

In 2021, she won the Non-Techiman Artiste of the Year, the Most Influential Music Performer, the Most-Toured Artist in the 3 Bono Regions, and the B/A Artist of the Year at the NKZ Music Awards.
